Dancing With the Williamsburg Stars 2020
Stars from fitness, health, music and more – can they get to a million dollars? The eleventh installment of Dancing with the Williamsburg Stars has a specific goal in sight, make it to a million dollars raised. To date, over $900,000 has been tallied since 2010 when the fundraiser event started. The next installment pulls together some of the most familiar and loved faces from across industries in Greater Williamsburg for the “greatest show in town!” Friendly opposition… sprinkled with sequins, glitter and spandex; all for an excellent cause.
The dynamic lineup of local stars includes well-known names in dentistry, health and real estate. It features Williamsburg’s own “most interesting man in the world” who was behind some of your favorite fine dining, teaches fitness anywhere it’s offered around town, owns a tow business yet is a sommelier and Black Belt in martial arts. Featured this year is also another “most interesting man” who’s a staple of the music scene across Virginia, plucked out Nashville to join the DWTWS cast. Plus, the brain behind WISC and publisher of everyone’s quarterly read, Local Scoop Magazine. Twelve brave business people have all accepted the challenge to train with a professional dancer for five months and compete in front of a live audience and panel of judges come February.
